Russell is the president of Fox Hill Financial & Insurance Services and a CFP® with over two decades of experience helping affluent families and business owners navigate complex financial decisions. What sets him apart is his evolution from a purely numbers-driven approach to embracing the nuanced, human side of money decisions—recognizing that the best financial plans adapt to each client's unique personality, values, and life circumstances.

Russell graduated from the University of the Pacific's Eberhardt School of Business in 1989 and spent over a decade in merchandising and buying for regional and national retailers. After 9/11 shifted the economic landscape, he was recruited by Principal Financial Group in 2002 and discovered his true calling in financial planning, soon establishing his own firm.

He genuinely enjoys getting to know clients on a personal level because that's where the real solutions emerge—whether you're navigating market volatility, planning your legacy, or making major life transitions.

Russell, a California transplant who grew up in Cascade, Iowa, now calls Roseville home. When he's not helping clients achieve financial clarity, you'll find him on the ski slopes, traveling, or indulging his passions for art, architecture, and fashion. He's also an avid motorsports fan and sim racing enthusiast. Russell serves as treasurer for the Rotary Club of Roseville Foundation, dedicating significant time to fundraising and charity work.
